Learning is another way you can keep busy. The act of seeking information can also offer you immense satisfaction.

Whether you’re lounging or being more active, being outside in the sunlight boosts your body’s supply of vitamin D and stimulates serotonin production, which, in turn, brightens your overall mood. 

Outdoor environments can stimulate in other ways as well. For instance, colorful flowers create pleasing visuals that can make you feel happier, less stressed, and possibly even more relaxed.
